New York-based Brevet Capital Management has unveiled an ambitious plan for 1341 S. Christopher Columbus Boulevard, presenting a 620-unit luxury tower that promises to redefine the Delaware River waterfront. Introduced at the Pennsport Civic Association meeting, this soaring residential project blends elegant design, modern functionality, and community-forward development.
Alongside the tower and an adjacent retail building, future phases may include two additional towers, creating a high-end riverfront community that enhances both skyline and lifestyle.
Zoning incentives along the central Delaware waterfront make such developments possible, provided that developers contribute to the city’s housing trust fund, maintain public access, and revitalize surrounding infrastructure. Brevet’s plans include enhancing the Delaware River Trail, extending it down to Reed Street, and transforming disused piers into public green spaces (a testament to thoughtful urban renewal).
At over 380 feet tall, the first tower features mainly one-bedroom and studio residences designed for convenience and luxury. Its sleek, contemporary aesthetic will anchor a new era of sophisticated city living.
Although parking is limited (187 spaces within the building and an additional 100 on-site), residents can look forward to improved pedestrian and bike access, aligning with Philadelphia’s evolving vision of an active, connected riverfront.
Construction is expected to begin in summer 2026, with an estimated 18 to 24-month timeline. This marks Brevet’s first Philadelphia development, following successful projects in Florida, Texas, and California.
This project represents more than new housing, it signals a shift toward refined urban living and revitalized community spaces along the Delaware River.
