Tucked into the former Great American Pub space on King Road, Main Line Tavern has quickly become a local favorite since opening in May. Restaurateurs Phil and Kate Ferro—also behind Chadds Ford Tavern and King’s Tavern—have revived the building into a warm, elevated dining destination that pairs neighborhood charm with timeless comfort food.
The menu mirrors the Ferro signature: think approachable, crowd-pleasing dishes with a few luxurious touches—$70 steaks and Dom Perignon alongside crispy wings and classic burgers. Designed with the community in mind, the ambiance features dark wood accents, Windsor chairs, and vintage Main Line photos, evoking the feel of a long-loved local hangout with polish.
While the food and drinks are at the heart of the experience, the Ferros didn’t stop there. They invested over $2 million, including the purchase of an adjacent car wash, to ensure guests enjoy not just delicious meals, but easy parking and a fully revitalized setting.
Whether it’s a casual weekday bite, a family dinner, or a weekend cocktail, Main Line Tavern brings back the classic pub scene—with a bit more sparkle. Open daily at noon, with happy hour from 4–6 PM.
