Looking for new restaurants on the Main Line? The Inquirer's latest roundup shows a busy stretch of openings from Ardmore to Wayne. In Ardmore, Vintner's Table has opened an outpost of its wine bar, salumeria and lifestyle boutique, and Taco Heart is expanding to the Ardmore Farmers Market. In Bala Cynwyd, Bruzi brings Southern Italian cooking with Calabrian dishes and about 100 Italian wines, replacing Aldar Bistro.
More are on the way. Alessandro's Enoteca is expected soon in Bryn Mawr, with a stronger evening and bar scene. In Devon, Salt, a Korean barbecue restaurant, and Yugo, a sushi spot, are expected to replace La Jonquille and Shiraz. In Wayne, Old Friend, a contemporary American grill, is on the ground floor of the Apartments at Wayne Station, and Martini & Roz, a Southern Italian restaurant, is scheduling its opening. In Ardmore, PokeOno has closed.
It is one more sign of how much the Main Line dining scene has grown, and why walkable towns like Ardmore, Wayne and Bryn Mawr remain among the most desirable places to live near Philadelphia.
